Ever since when, as a boy, my father allowed me to take some snapshots with his Leica M3, I have been fascinated by the process of photography. I remember watching him in his makeshift basement darkroom as he sloshed developer in a pan, and then being amazed as the image captured on my negative began to appear on what was just a moment ago a blank sheet of print paper. Over the years photography has been a presence, although not a constant one. It has been a hobby that I have phased in and out of. Each time that I have revisited, I have found that the technology has progressed and that the way I view the world has changed as well. I am more than excited about the current state of both image capture and post processing. The possibilities seem endless. Don’t think I’m going to phase out of this for long long while. There is much craft to be grown.
